Today, the steel industry accounts for 7% of the world’s total carbon dioxide emissions. Something needs to change to get the figure down to zero. So, we are changing. SSAB aims to be the first steel company, in 2026, to offer fossil-free steel to the market and largely eliminate carbon dioxide emissions from our own operations in around 2030. But we need to do more, and we need to be more. As an employee at SSAB, you will have the opportunity to work in a rapidly changing steel company. We strive for an inclusive and diverse work environment, driven by an innovative entrepreneurial spirit for continuous improvement. Welcome to SSAB!
