SSAB’s share capital is SEK 9,062 million. After the rights issue in 2016 the share capital comprises 304 183 270 class A shares and 725,652,056 class B shares with an accounting par value of SEK 8.80.
SSAB’s share capital is SEK 9,062 million. After the rights issue in 2016 the share capital comprises 304 183 270 class A shares and 725,652,056 class B shares with an accounting par value of SEK 8.80.
The completion of SSAB’s rights issue on June 27, 2016, increased the number of SSAB’s class B shares by 480,589,816. Following the issue, the total number of shares is 1,029,835,326, of which 304,183,270 are class A shares and 725,652,056 class B shares.
The combination of SSAB and Rautaruukki took place through a share exchange offer in 2014 whereby Rautaruukki’s shareholders were offered newly issued shares in SSAB in exchange for their existing shares in Rautaruukki. The issue of resulted in changes in the number of shares and votes.
Each class A share entitles the holder to one vote and each class B share entitles the holder to one tenth of one vote. There are no other differences between the share classes.
